Outdoor Natural Playground

Rosegrove Nursery care for children aged 3 and 4 years of age.

The latest project we have carried out at the nursery was to bring back to life an area of the garden that was closed off due to there being too many health and safety risks. We removed an old surface that was really slippery and covered in old moss.

A Natural Sensory Play Area

The prickly bushes around the edge were removed and we created an interactive sensory area. A living willow tunnel and dome with a bonded rubber mulch surface was installed. In the middle of the tunnel is a seating area with a Story Telling Chair, some mushroom seats for the children and a bird table for a spot of bird watching.

Some of the other work carried out at Rosegrove has been to resurface their old pathway with bonded rubber mulch, create a climbing wall to help the children with their gross motor skills, install a playhouse and install a large area of wetpour at the back of the nursery.
