New School Playground Equipment

Kensington Primary School is located in Liverpool, and teaches children from foundation year to year 6.

The site was on a bad gradient, which wasted a substantial amount of play space. They also had some dated play equipment that they wanted removing and replacing with new equipment.

Playground equipment supply and installation

We then began to install the new, modern school playground equipment, which consisted of bespoke covered sandpits, timber structures, teletubby mounds, crawl through tunnels and a story telling area. We supplied and installed new recycled picnic tables, and finished the area off with various surfaces, which included bonded rubber mulch, artificial grass, natural turf and resin bonded gravel.

We also added a unique water play feature to the main play area. We also supplied and installed natural living willow tunnels and domes to create a natural feel in the play area and encourage the children to learn about the natural environment. Finally we transformed the old multi use games area that hadn’t been used for years. We brought it back to life by simply installing a bespoke sports netting roof, which ensures unlimited sports and activities can take place securely without the risk of losing any balls.
