Artificial Grass

The Natural Look

If you’re looking for safety surfacing that is durable, low maintenance and natural looking, we have the ideal solution.  Artificial grass, otherwise known as artificial or synthetic turf, is a popular alternative to real grass and doesn’t require irrigation, trimming and in the event of heavy rainfall, it doesn’t become water logged.

A Brief History

Artificial grass was first introduced as an alternative to natural turf in the 1960’s and was first used in the multi-purpose domed sports stadium in Houston Texas. So successful is artificial grass, as a viable alternative to natural grass, its popularity has sky rocketed and we now see this turf substitute used for a variety of applications, which include school playgrounds, parks and other outdoor recreational areas.

Domestic use of artificial grass has also risen in popularity with many people choosing this alternative in their gardens and outdoor areas. Today the manufacture of artificial grass has altered from those early days and grass alternatives are now manufactured using the most up to date materials and techniques. However, the general purpose and benefits remain the same in that fake grass is the perfect solution when you require a safety surface that can emulate natural grass without the downfalls.  Artificial grass may simply require cleaning with water and this can be easily done by using a hose.

Low Maintenance Synthetic Surfacing

Artificial grass is not only a safe option for any play area but also environmentally friendly whilst maintaining that natural look to your outdoor play area. Real turf requires plenty of maintenance, whilst being easily damaged. Heavy rainfall can cause your grass to become waterlogged and muddy. Artificial grass requires very little maintenance and maintains its colour all year round.

Safe and Eye-catching

Artificial grass will break the impact of falls as it is just as cushioned as real grass, this ensures that the critical fall heights of your play equipment is taken into consideration. We have been designing and installing play areas with safety surfaces, such as artificial grass, for more than 20 years and are more than qualified to provide you with the perfect playground that is stimulating and safe as possible.

Let’s Play Everywhere have many years of experience installing artificial grass on both commercial and domestic premises so we know it is extremely versatile. Playgrounds that feature this grass alternative are made safer for children playing sports or using playground equipment and domestic customers might choose artificial grass to feature in borders and as a fake lawn when time and physical limitations mean they are unable to maintain a natural grass lawn.
